What are Quick-win Projects?
Quick win projects are implementation projects proposed in Phase II new cities which is a test-bed for new approaches and technologies. The projects will have a high potential for replicability and scale-up through government programs and missions. These projects will be fully funded through CapaCITIES project but depending on city’s interest this can also be implemented as a co-financing project
What are Co-Financing Projects?
Co-financing projects are implementation projects proposed in Phase I cities that will be partially funded through the CapaCITIES project (co-financing through PPP models and municipal corporation budget). These projects can also be a test-bed for new approaches and technologies with high potential for replicability and scale-up through government programs and missions. Also, development of long-term bankable projects can be supported by co-financing projects that will demonstrate the proof of concept of technology and proof of concept for co-financing of innovative and scalable projects.
What are Bankable Projects?
Bankable Projects are without direct financial contribution for implementation from the CapaCITIES project.
(a) Totally Bankable projects: could fully finance their investments through project revenues and hence can be financed through commercial or external financing agencies (Financial Institutions/Development Agencies/ Innovative financial instruments/ Green Financing) etc.
(b) Partially Bankable projects: There are other projects in which project revenues are insufficient to recover the investments, in such cases, the partially Bankable projects are structured as Bankable projects through leveraging existing government funding schemes or project specific viability support from Government.
